In case you missed it, this month starred one of the biggest dates in Amazon\u2019s calendar: Prime Day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As you would expect, online shoppers flocked to the eCommerce\u2019s website in order to gain the offer of a lifetime for them; and the best sales day (ever<\/a>) for\u00a0Amazon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What you might not have expected is that Amazon\u2019s Prime Day also meant the best July sales day (ever<\/a>) for\u2026.eBay.<\/p>\n

Partly fuelled by a competitive advertising campaign asking consumers \u201cBut did you check\u00a0eBay<\/a>?\u201d it reflects the trend for online consumers to compare products and prices on multiple websites before clicking\u00a0BUY.<\/p>\n

What Does this Mean for You?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Luckily, you don\u2019t need to pick sides in the Amazon and eBay competition for customers. This is an excellent example of why multichannel selling is so important. Whether shoppers are heading straight to their favourite site or comparing them all, your presence on eBay, Amazon\u00a0and<\/strong>\u00a0Etsy means that you\u2019ll be there to greet them on all three \u2013 as well as your own website; Increasing your presence,\u00a0brand<\/a>\u00a0and likelihood of securing sales in the process.<\/p>\n

Even luckier is that multichannel\u00a0eCommerce<\/a>\u00a0software exists to make listing and managing all three sales channel(s), alongside your website, simple and easy, whilst also providing you with the strategic insight to determine what is selling best, where.<\/p>\n
